It is normal to love money. What is not normal is the want of it for the wrong reasons. If a person is rich, he can be anything he wants. The opportunities are endless. However, not everybody can achieve it. Simply because they want to get rich but do not know how.

So, how did these wealthy people get there? The secret is in the attitude. Persevere and succeed. Patience is a must. If a person wants to get rich, he has to be patient enough to endure days of waiting. A person does not get wealthy overnight, but a person who waits gets wealthy in the end.

There are many ways to be rich. One technique is to lessen your expenditures. After all, income minus expenditures is increased money on hand. That is, in fact, the definition of being rich: when you have more money available. However, this available money when not used properly can be just that available money. That is where the other technique comes to play.

If a person has money, it is better to invest it in other things. The rule is low risk, high return investments. It may sound difficult at first, but once you get into the act of analyzing which investments have low risks but have high probability of return, you realize that it is easy. Experience is the key. Again, patience is a must, as it can take many years to break even and consequently earn money.

Now, when a person finally earns, he goes back to step one, save. Keeping whatever available money can be beneficial especially when the right opportunity for investment comes along. Strike when the iron is hot, as the saying goes. Stocks are good for investing. If not, it is highly recommended that savings are kept in a bank where it can grow without you moving it.

People often say I want to get rich, but do not act on it. They want to treat their wives to fancy restaurants, buy a house they can finally call their own, buy this, and buy that. Becoming rich is not just an idea. It involves motivation plus action.

Self control is also important. When a person finally earns money, bad habits start to come in. That person starts to buy things such as a new car or new gadgets. They say those are investments. What they do not know is that these unimportant things are liabilities. They pay for the maintenance of their new car or to upgrade these new gadgets. It is best to be simple. Stick to the same lifestyle before the money started to come in.

Lastly, the right mindset should be observed at all costs. There will be lots of times that things will not go as originally planned, however, it should not hamper the spirit. Optimism should never be replaced by pessimism. Also, as much as one should be flexible, he should also be creative. Ideas come and go and it simply takes a creative mind to recognize a good prospect when he sees it. The I want to get rich statement should be changed with, I will get rich .
